CS2-A Controllable Gas Springs with adjustable stroke length can be locked in the bottom position. The return stroke of the spring can be controlled.
The CS2-A controllable gas spring series consists of a family of gas springs for use in metal forming dies, whose piston rods can be locked at bottom dead center (BDC). The CS2 springs can be used where, for instance, the blank holder should be locked in its bottom position to avoid deformation of the formed part. The CS2-A controllable gas spring models offer adjustable stroke lengths within 15 mm.
For optimal performance, the full adjusted stroke should be used within ± 0.5 mm.
For optimal performance, the full adjusted stroke should be used within ± 0.5 mm.
