CS2

CS2 Controllable Gas Springs are available in Standard Lock (CS2) or Positive Lock System (CS2 + PS). They are ideal for applications where blank holder should be locked in its bottom position to avoid part deformation.

Available in contact forces from 1.6 tons to 8.4 tons and stroke lengths from 4 to 160 mm. As the stroke length always has to be fully utilized, the springs can be ordered with any stroke length between 5 and 160 mm (in increments of 1 mm).
For optimal performance, the full stroke should be used within ± 0.5 mm.
