The Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
The Pressure Equipment Directive strives to assure free movement of the products in its scope while ensuring high level of safety. Hyson™ is honored to have the PED CERTIFICATION, as it is one more assurance that our gas springs are designed to meet reliablility, safety and service life.

PED Approved
The majority of Hyson's gas springs have been approved to withstand a minimum of 2 million full cycles, in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU. This applies to the design, manufacture and conformity assessment of stationary pressure equipment with a maximum allowable pressure greater than 0.5 bar. While some companies' gas springs are in compliance with the Pressure Equipment Directive, this is unequal to the certification of Hyson's.
